Facility Managers: Cut Down on Stress with Corner Guards

by Boss Steel on July 21, 2017

We have seen the numbers on stress, and as you can imagine, they are not good.

The first piece of bad news is that 77% of Americans & Canadians claim to experience physical symptoms as a result of their stress; the second piece of bad news is that job pressure is cited as the number one cause of stress.

Fortunately, there's some good news as well. You're not helpless. You can take active steps to manage, reduce, and eliminate stress. Although drinking caffeine, taking meds, and increasing alcohol consumption can offer short-term relief, these aren't the sort of steps we recommend. Not only are they not healthy, but they're also not the most effective long-term.

Any form of exercise is a great stress reliever. Physical activity produces endorphins, or “feel good” chemicals, so your mood literally improves. If you’re stressed, taking it out on the punching bag at the gym or the treadmill is much better than taking it out on a bottle of wine.

For busy facility managers, there's a further step. Because much of your stress involves juggling too many tasks in too little time, anything you can do to lighten your load brings instant stress relief.

By installing corner guards along your interior corners and edges, you'll be cutting down on routine maintenance and saving yourself a whole lot of hassle. Although selecting, ordering, and installing corner guards may sound like just another task, we know that in the long run, it will save you both time and money.

In order to help you make the best use of your time, we make ourselves available to help you every step of the way. If you have questions about which size, style, or thickness of guards is right for your needs, or if you have comments or concerns about anything else, please feel free to contact us. We're always just a few keystrokes away.

We look forward to serving you.
